It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Hull and East Yorkshire, with light switch-ons, Santa parades, the Nutcracker and more!

The highlight of the week is Hull's Christmas light switch-on, a beloved tradition that marks the beginning of the festive season in our city. Plus, we've gathered all the details on other switch-ons happening across the region!

Adding more magic to the air, the Santa Arrival Parade is set to delight both young and old this weekend. Get ready to welcome Santa in style as Hull rolls out the red (and green) carpet!

And in culinary news, we ventured to Hull’s inclusive city centre cafe bar Ponto Lounge to try their new menu!

As always, there's tons more going on this week too. It's the final week of the Hull Comedy Festival 2023, offering the last chance to catch some of the best stand-up showcases and performances, and for those who love a bit of ballet, The Nutcracker at Connexin Live promises a mesmerizing evening.
