Hello Friends!

Happy FREEZING Friday! "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

This week has been a medley of random. I saw an advance screening of "CATS"- the movie (which I absolutely LOVED--I laughed, CRIED, and had every other feeling in between), went to "The Daily Show" with Trevor Noah, attended my friend's holiday gathering, and participated in 2020 Mastermind goal setting workshop.

Be sure to check out my pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week---I try to post some of my randomness there.

Have an AMAZING weekend and upcoming holiday week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Parapraxis: (noun) a slip of the tongue or pen, forgetfulness, misplacement of objects, or other error thought to reveal unconscious wishes or attitudes.

  • ADVICE:  "Follow the calling, not the crowd.” — Anonymous

  • MOOD MUSIC: This week's music mood is a capture from a song I happened to hear in Target-John Splithoff's "Sing To You." I instantly oved the soulful feel of it.

  • RANDOM RECOMMENDATION: I got into this show super late...but, if you're looking for something light, funny, and endearing to binge watch over the holidays, I highly recommend The Big Bang Theory

  • SOMETHING TO TRY:  If you're a fan of black and white cookies (like me), I highly recommend trying the Half Moon cookies at Trader Joes. (I tried to find a link for them- but didn't have success- so, just ask one of the crew members to direct you to this magical goodness- you won't be disappointed!)

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: If you're wanting to level up your creativity game with gift wrapping, you may find these hacks helpful.

  • FEEL GOOD STORY: What a wonderful idea This Irish School has for homework for the kids. This should be in every school!

As the end of the year continues to draw near, I find myself more in my reflective thoughts; but, not so much in a way where I can easily deliver (or verbalize) them the way in which I want...So, I am using this space to share some inspirational things. The above photo is a caption of one of my favorite poems, "Desiderata." I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

This week's challenge is a wild card- come up with your own, and let me know what you decide to do!

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
