The Summer Swing Ball
Saturday 16th July 2022, 8pm-midnight
The Hammersmith Club, London W6
Dress up and dance to the authentic sounds of a full-size (14-piece) Big
Band, led by swing and jazz maestro Pete Long! Lindy hoppers, swing
dancers, and non-dancers all welcome.
Swing the night away to the sounds of the Pete Long Orchestra -
playing the songbook of the giants of the 1930s and 40s swing era - the
way it was meant to be played!
We're going all out to transform the Hammersmith Club's
stunning period dance hall into an elegant ballroom... Dress to impress -
vintage/retro style, or smart modern.
We'll kick the night off with a short, fun, introductory Charleston
class for those who'd like to learn a few fun steps, or just warm up!
8.15pm-8.45pm, no experience required. Solo steps - no partner needed!
Tickets for the Ball cost from £32 (£25 concessions), and are now on sale. Strictly limited numbers. Reserved seats and tables of 4 also available.
Advance booking required.

You don't need to be able to - or even want to - dance to
enjoy the ball, but if you're new to swing music/dancing and would like
to learn, we're running an introductory workshop
at The Hammersmith Club on Sunday 10th July, 11am-1pm - and we're
offering a very special deal on that if you're coming to the Ball!
