Hi ,
We've got another great edition of What's On Weekly for you!
Biggest news in the city this week is Hull's successful bid to host the International Choir Competition in 2023. It's the first time the competition will be held in the UK and is expected to attract up to 1000 individuals worldwide from participating choirs to the city.
There will be an opening and closing ceremony, and throughout the five days there will be multiple choir competitions, pop-up concerts, and individual coaching sessions available.
Looking forward to the upcoming season, we're showcasing some of the biggest and best stand-up comedians making their way to Hull this spring.
Across Hull Truck, Bonus Arena, and Hull City Hall is a fantastic programme of side splitting live comedians such as Ed Byrne, Chris Ramsey, Lucy Beaumont, and Al Murray. It's going to be so #Hullarious!
If you're looking for some entertainment this week then look no further as we've compiled a list of the unmissable events happening across the city.
There's live music from pop hit makers Bastille, as well as game changing theatre with Jeff Wayne’s The War Of The Worlds, dynamic dance from Diversity, live stand-up comedy from Joe Lycett, and a dramatic return from Opera North with two iconic shows in Carmen and Rigoletto.
And if it's a great food deal you're hungry for then fear not, as our local foodie, Ben, has gathered some of the best restaurant savings happening around Hull & East Yorkshire so you can have a delicious meal for a little cheaper.
I hope you enjoy.
