On behalf of AFC staff and Board of Directors -- THANK YOU!

Throughout June, we had a $15,000 matching campaign, where every donation would be matched by one of our generous donors. We are grateful to your faithfulness for helping us achieve that goal, resulting in a total of $30,000 raised.

It’s not an easy time right now, in the world, our country, maybe even in our homes. But your contribution has been an example of courageous faith.

One of our students, Ryan, is participating in our short-term prayer journey to Japan. His update from today:

“After meeting with Pastor Shimomura and praying with two local campus workers, I felt encouraged by the faith and sacrifices these individuals have made to obey their calling. Despite all the difficulties they’ve faced, they still find satisfaction and comfort in the Father. Please pray for the students and leaders as they navigate their faith in an unreached country like Japan.”

I hope that encourages you. As young people witness the resilient faith of fellow believers outside their own context, their faith is challenged and matured.

So let us continue to spur each other on towards faith that is bold and courageous. Whether as supporters behind-the-scenes or students on the front line, we are partnering with God in his redemptive mission, for the flourishing of all.

「今天與下村牧師及兩位當地校園同工會面並一同禱告後，我深深對他們回應呼召所展現的信心與犧牲所激勵。儘管他們經歷了不少艱難，他們仍能在天父裡找到滿足與安慰。請為當地學生與領袖禱告，求主幫助他們在這未得之地—日本，堅定地走這條信仰之路。」
