Hello Friends!

Happy Friday! "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

It's been a VERY INTERESTING past couple of weeks for me- as I have been engaging in one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE things- travel! I often share that travel is like my therapy- it is a way for me to recalibrate, get centered, and reflect on life and purpose. And, this "therapy journey" took me to two very interesting places- the countries of Jordan and Israel. I have always wanted to see Petra (which did not disappoint), and have also been wanting to do a bit of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in Jerusalem. I will cherish both experiences forever, and will be sharing and highlighting things on my social media in a series of recaps. (*And, if you find yourself wanting to venture out to either in the near future, feel free to ask me questions...it can be quite interesting navigating one's way around these parts- and, I have lots of tips and insights to share!)

In the interim, you can be sure to check out my random pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week as well!

Have an AMAZING weekend and week next week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Anagnorisis: (noun) The critical moment of recognition or discovery

  • ADVICE:  "The journey between what you once were and who you are now becoming is where the dance of life really takes place.” —              Barbara De Angelis

  • MOOD MUSIC: In a seemingly strange turn of events, I got to attend a Kizomba dancing night in Jordan (I was so excited to practice what I had been learning from classes 🤗). They played THIS SONG, "Fall" by Davido there, and I really loved the sound and feel of it.

  • NEW FOOD DISCOVERY: Before, and during my trip, I kept hearing about this Middle Eastern food called, Knafeh. I must admit, I wasn't too thrilled about the ingredients mix (unripened cheese that's baked in shredded phyllo dough before being soaked in simple syrup, sugar, rose water + possible nuts (which I did learn you can get without)), and kept putting off trying it...but, eventually I did on my very last night. What a surprise and delight it was! I was so upset I hadn't tried it earlier!

  • SOMETHING I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO: One of my favorite actors is Sterling Brown (from "This is Us"---and, if you don't watch that show, what are you waiting on?). I love watching the emotional depths that he takes the characters that he plays to; and, I am super excited to see his upcoming movie,  "Waves."

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: Need to get an annoying sticker off of something? Spray it with a liquid that contains alcohol- the alcohol will "eat" at the glue adhesive, and make the removal a lot easier for you.

  • FEEL GOOD STORY: What a day and special story THIS was for Sergeant Mike Nawacki!

I have been a little on the tired side since my return the day before yesterday- but, I was determined to get back in the swing of honoring my commitment to myself for putting out this weekly newsletter for this Friday. So, I got up, set off every alarm and am working on putting this together for this morning. I don't have the energy to write a more personal musing today- so, I am sharing a post from one of my favorites, Alex Elle. I love these graphics that she puts together, and hope that you get something out of them just like I do.

I hope that you have an AMAZING day!!!

This week's challenge is to try a new food- especially, if you're a creature of habit (like myself) in this area. Let me know if you discover something great!

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
