In this 3rd week of MCO 2.0 you can join online events on the economy, health, music, comedy and more. There will be no live Thaipusam festivities in Penang this year but you can still take a virtual tour of previous years’ celebrations this Thursday.

VIRTUAL TRAVEL SHOW - THAIPUSAM: BURDEN OF WORSHIP, Online, Thursday January 28th 3pm-4pm

Photographer Matt Brandon has conducted photo workshops for overseas photographers following selected devotees through their preparations in the days leading up to Thaipusam as well as during the festival itself. Though Thaipusam is cancelled this year, you can still experience it through Matt's photos.

Matt has worked for the likes of National Geographic, Destinations and many other prestigious publications over the last few years. Now based in Penang, he will share some of his favourite photos with a sprinkling of travel & photography tips along the way.
