Greetings from a beautiful fall afternoon in New York City! I took a hiatus from the newsletter to enjoy being present with the people around me, plus give myself some mental space after a long time of working intensely. It has been amazing.

Last night I took a late night walk with my friend Vriti, and we ran into Chris from OBAstronomy who shared views of Saturn, Jupiter and the moon with us. I never thought it'd be possible to view planets from light-filled NYC, but I was wrong. What a treat.

The most surprising experiences often occur on quieter side streets. If you don’t give yourself time to explore fringes, you close yourself off from opportunities to learn new things.
