Thank you so much to our manager here at PiP’s, Adelle Bailey, and to Karl Drew, Manager of The Duchess of Cornwall for organising a sell-out fundraising dinner on the 4th November which raised £6,000 on the night to be shared between The Alcohol Education Trust and The Lantern Trust.
We were truly overwhelmed by the generosity of the promises given for the Auction of Promises and the raffle prizes and would like to say a huge thank you to:
- Rosemary Rogers (dinner party for 8)
- The Brace of Butchers (all the ingredients for a roast dinner for 8)
- Monart Spa (3-hour pass for two guests)
- Dorset Show Homes (£600 garden makeover)
- Dukes Auctioneers (½ lamb and jewellery valuation)
- Casterbridge Arts Society, where Pam Phillips, Penny Treadwell, Judy Tate and other artists donated wonderful art works for sale
- The Great Baldini magician (tickets to his show in Bristol and accommodation)
- Hall and Woodhouse (several wonderful nights away and dinner packages)
- The Head Chef at the Duchess (private dinner party)
- Chris Nadin (50-year-old bottle of special edition vodka)
Everyone was so generous on the night – thank you everyone who supported us in any way. For us, this is enough funding to support young people around alcohol, cannabis and vaping in 20 schools and colleges for a whole year with our resources, workshops and staff training – just wonderful.
