My flu symptoms aren't too bad, but I am having quite a lot of trouble concentrating. Whenever I try to do anything, six other options come into my head at once, with the result that it's quite hard to make a decision about anything. The upshot of this is that there are so many exciting things to tell you that I didn't get round to writing a newsletter until now because I couldn't decide what to tell you first without it turning into the longest email ever...

I suspect the answer is just to write shorter newsletters more regularly - so I'm going to give that a go over the next month. Meanwhile I'll stop waffling and get to the important bit :-)

I HAVE A SOLO EXHIBITION! 

And why are they like buses? Because I will also have paintings in two other exhibitions at the same time AND I'll be showing my work online.
So if you're around Hertfordshire in May, then you can play 'spot the painting' (there are 4 of mine) at Kimpton Art Show as part of the Kimpton May Festival weekend. This is a lovely village festival, with a great exhibition of all kinds of paintings, pottery, and crafts in the church, all for sale. I've put full details below in the events.

I still need to come up with a suitable title for the exhibition, so if you can think of anything, let me know all your suggestions. It would be lovely if you could make it, but if not, I will be doing an online tour as well and I'll write and let you know about that in a couple of weeks.

I promised to keep this newsletter a bit shorter, so I'll leave you with info about the upcoming dates and one more picture to wish you a very happy season of new beginnings.
