March 8, 2021
Hi ,
If February was bitterly cold and miserable, March has delivered an amazing introduction into spring. Really, the beginning of March couldn't be more spring~like.
Maybe March is giving us good weather so we can get in our yards and clean up all the dead plants that resulted from our February freeze. Sweet Shark and I spent some time this weekend cutting back dead vines and branches.
Underneath some of the dead leaves, spring poked out its pretty head. Some small green leaves on our hydrangea bush let us know that spring will prevail ~ like it does every year.
Last week was all about spring and this week continues that trend with a little Easter included. These posts gave you lots of ideas for your spring decorating.
First up was how to decorate a spring master bedroom. You can use these ideas to spruce up your bedrooms for spring.
Then, I showed you some beautiful ways to use faux flowers in your spring home decor.,
On Saturday, I shared 5 Spring and Easter DIY projects you should take a look at.
RECIPE OF THE WEEK ~ Warm Honey, Figs and Raspberries with Fresh Cheese: This light, fruit~filled dessert is delicious and very French. From one of my favorite French cookbooks, it's easy to assemble.
BLOGGER TIP OF THE WEEK ~ This one is from another of my favorite blogger experts, Brandon Gaille of The Blog Millionaire.
BLOG WORD COUNT ~ the length of your blog post. These 3 suggestions are actionable ones that you can implement easily and quickly.
Stat 1 ~ Bloggers who write 2000+ words per post are reporting the best results, but only 11% of bloggers write posts that have at least 2000 words.
Stat 2 ~ Longer form content tends to rank for more keywords. A single 2000+ word blog post that ranks in the top 10 on Google for a specific phrase will also rank in the top 10 for 212 other keyword phrases.
Stat 3 ~ Blog posts with 3000+ words get an average of 77.2% more referring domain links than posts shorter than 1000 words.
BOTTOM LINE ~ Write longer posts!
This week is full of more Spring and Easter ideas. I'm participating in a Celebrating Spring Blog Hop that will provide you with plenty of inspiration and enjoyment. I'll be back on Wednesday with Spring Entry ideas.
Until then, have a great week.
