We have been able to push through during a most challenging year for delivering programs and services to older adults. Our successes have been in expanding our reach to reach over 2,500 viewers through our webinars on elder abuse and financial fraud.
Our National Town Hall on preparing communities of color for the COVID-19 vaccine spurred a call to action. Our workforce development seminars pivoted to prepare older adults for remote positions. We are also very proud of our Village Connector Experience program which differentiates itself by helping over 750 older adults to improve their variety of social connections to eradicate loneliness.
We ask your support this Giving Tuesday to help the Juanita C. Grant Foundation continue our expansion of services to improve the lives of older adults. You will find a wonderful array of art, professional services, and perfect holiday gifts in the Silent Auction.
Your generous gift of participation will help us return to our full schedule of in-person programming in 2022.
- $1,500 will support two Elder Abuse and Financial Fraud Trainings.
- $2,000 will support customer service training for 8 volunteers to become certified Village Connector Experience Ambassadors establishing social connections to over 54 older adults.
- $5000 will support 3 workforce development workshops.
