Award Winning Mafia romance!

WINNER Semi Annual Literary Awards Novel Grounds: "For Fallon" Best Breakout Novel 2014.

Book 1 in "Chicago Syndicate" series, by Amazon Bestselling author Soraya Naomi.

We all have a façade, a concealed mask we wear to portray ourselves to the world.

Fallon’s mask is real, what you see is what you get. Growing up with two loving parents in Chicago, graduating in Chicago, and now working a job she loves, she enjoys her life.

Her untarnished world is shaken when Luca crosses her path.

Luca’s mask is tightly controlled. Distrust, rivalry, and violence rule his life.

When confronted with insecurities, when the one you love wears his mask perfectly, when your life unravels and you don’t know why, do you keep trusting the person you love?

Everyone has a façade. Everyone has an ulterior motive.

Book Review of the Week

It''s not been the best week for me in terms of fiction reviews, by which I mean that there weren't any real standouts. So I'm going to depart from the norm a little bit and recommend a book to any aspiring authors among my readers.

Take it from me that being a self-published, indie author is jolly hard work. You have to do everything yourself or find and pay an expert to do it for you, and while some established authors are really helpful and nice, I've heard of some on one particular Reddit thread who were deliberately giving bad advice to newbies.

There are a million books out there on how to write and how to publish. I always recommend Let's Get Digital by David Gaughran for a comprehensive walk-through, but this week I was sent a book for review by someone who saw that I'd reviewed Let's Get Digital and wanted to get my opinion on her new book.

Well, I think it's an absolutely invaluable guide for anyone even thinking of publishing, whether indie or traditional. Read my full review here and then go grab the book; seriously, it's 99 cents well spent.

That's about it from me for this week!

Don't forget to enter the Kindle Fire giveaway, and please dip into your pocket for 99 cents for Tropical Tryst too - it's really great value and I and the other authors are really hoping to make USAToday with the set. Every purchase helps, especially in the non-Amazon stores!

Until next week, happy reading!
