Dear ,
Lately, I’ve been rethinking routines. Not in a burn-it-all-down way, but in a how-can-this-work-better-for-me way.
I led a resilience workshop for our Visual Experience team, teaching micro-practices to support the nervous system—small resets for when the day gets overwhelming (see IG post with pix, videos, attendee feedback).
It’s the same content from my Insight Timer course: 1-5 minute breathwork practices leading up to a 15-minute yoga nidra, and the energy shift in the room was undeniable. It reminded me how much I love this work and that maybe it’s time to start teaching again.
I also started a new strength training program at the gym (eGYM) that feels like training wheels for weight machines—following the push-pull movements on a screen like a karaoke song. It’s gamified just enough to keep me engaged.
Meanwhile, my Barre Definition app workouts started feeling repetitive, so I switched to the FIIT app, which gives me variety across strength, Metcon, barre, and pilates with different instructors. It’s been refreshing!
Then, I took my e-bike out for the first time in months, cycling just 15 minutes out of the city into nature. Birds chirping, river flowing, fresh air—it was the reset I didn’t know I needed.
This got me thinking about how small shifts—whether in workouts, mindfulness, or movement—can create huge ripple effects in energy and well-being.
