This month we celebrated Foster Care Month. Our focus was to educate the public on the benefits of foster care and highlight the plight of the children in our community.
Statistics are always important to be aware of and currently we have:
· 801 foster families
· 1 030 children in foster care
· 66% of our children in foster care were orphaned by the death of their parent, resulting in a foster care placement
· 34% of our children in foster care were placed in foster care after being exposed to circumstances of neglect / abuse / abandoned
Children are not able to fend for themselves and it is up to us to give them a place of safety and somewhere they can call home and feel safe. The wellbeing of our children is heavy on our hearts and our goal is to give them that safety when they have been put into foster care due to circumstances.

We thank you all for your continued support.
