As a not-for-profit organisation Z-PAC Theatre is managed by a Committee who are responsible for providing an annual report to members. It is also a time when the Management Committee must all step down from their roles to enable any members a fair opportunity to apply.

Being on the Management Committee is a rewarding experience and without dedicated volunteers to take on these leadership roles, Z-PAC Theatre wouldn’t be operational.

Thank you to David Lee, State Member for Hervey Bay, for your continued support and assistance and thank you to the members who came along and supported our AGM.

The legendary Inspector Drake is back to face his greatest challenge, as he gropes for the answer to the perfect crime – groping some of the suspects along the way!!

Written by David Tristram, this is the perfect comedy from the master of crime. Will an audience be able to solve this whodunit or will they be dying of laughter?

When a genius commits a murder, the plan is perfect. But, is it foolproof? The indomitable Inspector Drake attempts to unravel a plot with more twists in it than, well, a really twisty thing!

Who is the mysterious Doctor Short and why did he marry a wolf?

Has he murdered his fourth wife – or did she murder him first?

Has he really got two daughters named Sabrina, or is one of them telling ‘porkies’?

Where is Frank, the taxi driver?

What was the Pope doing in the woods?

These are just some of the questions facing the world’s most famous dick, all with the help of Sergeant Plod, who is Drake’s Watson and is everything Watson isn’t, including stupid!

The play contains some moderate language and sexual references in the vein of Blackadder and Faulty Towers.

Our opening weekend was hugely successful.  This is what audiences had to say:

Demise (Dir. Nicky Fernandes) -

Explore the darkly comic and emotionally gripping world of four short plays. With stories set across decades, from charming hitmen to existential crises, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your range and depth as an actor.
