In addition to all of these great digital tools, you now have a host of new markets and potential customers being created every day. And as if that wasn't enough, you also have an entire economy that has shifted to an online-first/digital-first consumer mindset.

In this new world, personal brands will become the new mom-and-pop shops. If you build your personal brand, you've built the beginnings of a business. Start building yours now. Pick an interesting point of view, then start writing. That will bring the beginnings of your audience, which is what you'll need to launch your first product or service.
