What a great magazine this is!

With an annual subscription of only $87 (a saving of over $30 on the single-issue bookstore price) you'll get a smorgasbord of  wonderful stories and fantastic photos.

Of special interest to our members in this month's issue is the story about KATE. We had an update about her in an earlier Sheerlines, and now there's a great article in the December issue of Boating NZ

Also in this issue: If you've never explored the Manukau Harbour by water, check out the article about the classic charter boat  RATAHI, now resident on the harbour.

A footnote about the Manukau - did you know it's second only to the Kaipara in size. There are moves afoot to get more infrastructure around the shores so it can be enjoyed by the wider population. In the meantime, Trevor Pennington's charter tours are a great way to enjoy it. For a taste treat, see their video at

Our new member Jennifer Rouse would love to catch up with like-minded classic yachties and especially classic launchies in the Hawkes Bay area. Jennifer is currently putting together a Napier Art Deco Maritime Proposal and would really appreciate your input.
