Have you ever wondered why itās called MJās Cabin Crew?
Bear with me if youāve read the first two books in the TimeBlink series, because this will be painfully obvious to you.
You see, cabins feature heavily in this series.
Most of book one takes place at a stunning vacation property at Sandalwood Lake in the Pacific Northwest.
It is there that protagonist Syd Brixton must decide whether she wants to use her newfound power of timeblinking to discover the truth behind her sisterās disappearance twenty years earlier or whether sheād rather use it to save her soulmateās life instead.
In book two, the adventure starts on a crashing plane (no need to point out the cabin connection there.).
Itās the year 2024 and Syd zaps herself off the doomed flight right into September 2019āonce again to the picturesque cabin at the Lake. This time, however, sheās accidentally brought people with her, making the entire groupās return to the present even deadlier than if theyād stayed on ill-fated Flight 444.
And in the final instalment of this series (now in progress), the story picks up right where book two left offāyou guessed itāat Sandalwood Lake.
However, the action moves quickly to the small nearby city of Port Raven, and this time, Sydās mission is to find a missing family member whom she believes is being held hostage in 2014.
So, thatās the Cabin Crew backstory for you.
Oh, and since there isnāt much going on at the lake in book three, let me know if you can think of a fun cabin-related Easter egg to drop in there somewhere, and if I use it, Iāll be sure to mention you in the Acknowledgements!
