As the founder of a meditation community called "EFF THIS!" I sometimes get asked why I swear so much.

One of things I am constantly preaching is that if you are overwhelmed, anxious, sad, etc. IT IS NOT YOU, it is society! As this great article by Anne Helen Peterson explains, 

"We’re not feckless teens anymore; we’re grown-ass adults, and the challenges we face aren’t fleeting, but systemic."
