Registration open for GOED Conference

The 2023 annual GOED conference will be held Monday and Tuesday, April 24-25 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

Planning and succeeding will be the focus at this year's event. From where you are now, to where you go next, to who you have at your table are important pieces to your community's success.

Keynote speaker and best-selling author Jon Gordon, author of Energy Bus and Power of Positive Leadership, will be a session you do not want to miss.

GOED's annual report is now available in both print and online versions.

From economic development at a glance to state successes in 2022, this year's report is full of stats, stories, and photos of this past year. For a complete look at things, check out the report here.

Childcare grant funding information

Registered childcare providers trying to expand their current business or start a business, now have an option for assistance with $12.5 million in grant funds that are now available through the South Dakota Department of Social Services.

Applications are now being accepted on a rolling basis through February 2024.
