The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Volpe Center has announced a September through October 2024 webinar series on implementation of transportation infrastructure projects under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). Since 2021, the Biden-Harris Administration has announced nearly $454 billion in BIL funding, which includes over 56,000 specific projects and awards across over 4,500 communities in all 50 states, Washington, DC, the territories, and for Tribal Nations. While the economic benefits of BIL will be realized over the coming years and decades, the benefits of job creation in the construction industry are starting to emerge.
This DOT webinar series will include three panels of transportation thought leaders focused on, “Making Good on the Potential of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.” Details regarding these upcoming webinars are as follows—
Panel 1: “Project Delivery Lessons Learned from Emergency Response Following an Infrastructure Catastrophe”
