Meet Pranjal!
Pranjal Kothawade joins GDi with experience in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE), Government of India. During her tenure at the Ministry, she monitored and evaluated the performance of grant-in-aid institutions across India. She worked on multiple projects including social audit of MGNREGA, policy design for senior citizens and marginalised communities, and supported implementation of MoSJE schemes in Maharashtra.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Urban Policy and Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai and a graduate degree in Planning from College of Engineering, Pune. In college, she interned with Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and AIILSG Mumbai and worked on diverse projects spanning infrastructure planning, green financing, capacity building and democratic decentralization.
Her passion to solve complex governance problems and create impact brings her to GDi Partners. She aims to leverage her experience to improve the human development indicators and promote citizen-centric policies.
In her free time, Pranjal likes to travel and explore new places, and solve sudoku puzzles.
