Supporting Faculty During and After COVID-19

COVID-19 has upended health, education, and work systems. People are balancing new work, familial, and personal care routines, coping with feelings of uncertainty and grief, and wondering how they are going to make it all work. College and university faculty are no different.

The IChange initiative at UCF made a document to help support faculty during and after COVID-19 and help keep equity moving forward. Please click here or the link below to access it.

Fall 2020 Textbook Order Deadline - May 1, 2020

The deadline for Fall 2020 textbook orders is Friday, May 1.

Things to remember:

  1. Textbook orders do not carry over from the previous semester. If you do not submit orders by the deadline, you will not have textbooks.
  2. If a textbook is not going to be required, an order MUST be submitted stating ‘No Text Material Required For This Course.’

All textbook orders need to go through Faculty Enlight, our online adoption platform. Please click the button below for more instructions.

New Office of Research Database

The Office of Research has developed a new database available to researchers. The site lets users search using keywords for COVID-19 related research funding opportunities. The OR office has been fielding many calls from faculty members asking about opportunities so there should be a demand.

The database is already live https://www.research.ucf.edu/funding/coronavirus.html
