31 July 2019, Bangkok, Thailand – The 31st Edition of Asia IoT Business Platform (AIBP) was held in Bangkok for the 5th consecutive year on 31 July – 1 August at the InterContinental Bangkok, Thailand. The event was centred on the theme of Driving Digitalisation Ecosystems in Thailand, as Thailand moves forward into the new digital era of Thailand 4.0 with investments in both soft and hard infrastructure.

The event discussion highlighted action plans, current developments and future opportunities the digital infrastructure has for local enterprises. Thirty-five industry experts from government organisations, local businesses and service providers presented the ongoing Internet of Things (IoT) projects and digital implications on business practices. For Thailand to keep pace with industry and business demands under the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), preparation for industrial digitalisaton is an integral part of the development.
