Welcome to our eight edition of the short'ncrisp newsletter. We hope you are able to read these occasionally and are able to get a "feel" of the slow but definite changes that YOU are helping us bring about in the lives of many.
In this edition, we want to show you a glimpse of home-developed App called "SOFOne App" that we use for all internal tracking, resource sharing and more. Write to us if you want to dig more into this.
Meanwhile we have 23+ students of ours appearing for their first public Grade 10 exam in March 2022. While they are gearing up, our centers/teachers are now almost available 24 x 7 to provide them on-demand support whenever and whatever they need to cross this first milestone of their educational journey.
Lastly we hope you and your loved ones are safe and comfortable. We are sure you all have the well wishes of our 250+ families that you have been supporting.
Here is a glimpse into other developments that's happening at our end. We have broken updates into 4 quadrants - Operations, Partnerships, People and Enablers i.e. You - Our well-wishers
Operations - A view from ground-zero
We started our venture into Rural Bangalore with around 200+ students for our Sethu and Stambha Programs in partnership with Learning Matters and Pride group of Insitututes. We hope to play this "scale" game with same tenacity as we have played the "depth" ones with our core programs
Having said that the original plan of starting our first centers in Pune and Chennai is still on cards, but perhaps likely in the last quarter of 2021-22. Fingers crossed!
Partnership - "Project Kudumba Sahayog"
In partnership with one our corporate funders, we launched a program called "Kudumba Sahayog". The project is a multi-year program focused on providing support to economically challenged families (specially COVID or Pandemic impacted) by means of sponsorship of children’s education, medical expenses and/or food supplies (ration kits) while assisting the family come back on track.
People - Meet our Staff
Meet Vandana Mudradi who takes care of our Education Pedagogy and much more. She holds Master’s degree in paramedical course (M.Sc.- Medical Biochemistry) and has an extensive teaching experience in Biochemistry, for PG & UG students. Besides this, she is also a "Vidhwat" in classical Bharatanatyam.
