Friends of Reevesby Island Group (F.R.I.G.) is a group of volunteers progressively restoring the original farm homestead and outbuildings located on Reevesby Island, the main island in the Sir Joseph Banks Group of islands archipelago located approx 20km east of Tumby Bay. As well as restoration to the buildings they also take a keen interest in the local fauna, birdlife and wildlife that inhabit the group of islands, with a view to conservation.

Councils successful in Funding 
Congratulations to the eight local Councils for their successful applications, proudly supported by RADEP,  to the State Government's Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program. 
* City of Port Lincoln - $3,640,000 for the Port Lincoln foreshore project.
* District Council of Ceduna - $258,291 for the public amenities project.
* District Council of Cleve - $1,268,504 for the open space recreation area and playspace.
* District Council of Elliston - $861, 227 for the Elliston stormwater infrastructure and samphire flat wetland upgrade.
* District Council of Kimba - $115,162 for independent and affordable aged accommodation.
* District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula - $918,250 for the Flinders Highway upgrade.
* District Council of Streaky Bay - $392,287 for the western transit loop.
* District Council of Tumby Bay - $1,681,131 for the Graham Smelt Causeway culvert upgrade.
