The Museum will be open and staffed by volunteer Docents, every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and select Saturdays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, as volunteers are available. Saturdays already scheduled through the end of the year include:
September 7, 14; October 5, 26; November 2, 9; December 7
Saturday operations are subject to change. See the website for frequent updates.
The Museum will also be taking it’s “road show” mobile exhibit to the annual Norwich University Scout Camporee September 25-26, and to Hidden Valley Scout Reservation in Gilmanton Ironworks, NH October 12 (Columbus Day weekend) for the New England Shooting Sports Symposium.
Scouting units, from within or outside Daniel Webster Council, renting campsites at Manchester’s Camp Carpenter are also invited to make the Museum part of their weekend program, by making a reservation.
The Museum also offers private access, on demand, for travelers who are only in the area at times when it is not scheduled to be open. Admission is always free.
