Chris was extremely passionate about her work. Dancers who trained with her would frequently have a real love/hate relationship with the work, simply because it was just damn hard. Yet despite those feelings of frustration, people who had the opportunity to experience the technique deeply understood & respected "what it took" to perform the Jazz Spectrum Dance Company repertoire - especially to the level at which Chris required. It was my promise to Chris that her powerful technique & choreographies would continue to live on and be preserved with integrity for audiences and future generations to feel connected, inspired, and enjoy!

At this very moment, we are gearing up to perform live online at the Reflect Showcase! Alongside 6 other incredible SoCal choreographers, JSDC will be presenting our timeless work "Witness" with a beautiful cast of dancers featuring: Janell Burgess, Jeni Jones, Stephanie Maxim, Lauren Richter, Estelle Verdugo, & Erica Villapando

Our transformative duet "Chameleon" will be showing for FREE online at The Los Angeles Experimental Film & Music Video Festival!

JSDC will be featured in the 7PM concert at OCDF (Orange County Dance Festival) live & in-person at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster! OCDF is graciously produced by our fellow SoCal company AkomiDance, directed by Marie Hoffman & Melesio Aceves.

Jazz Spectrum Dance Company will present our bi-annual concert "The Full Spectrum" with special guest artists Michael Montoya and Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre.

"The real challenge is to acknowledge & fulfill everyone's needs in a rehearsal. Sometimes our time together is much too short to get everything done!"
