Registration for Chipola Term C Classes Begins Feb. 28

Registration begins Feb. 28 for Chipola College Spring Term C. The term runs six weeks, March 7 through May 3. The schedule features traditional face-to-face and some online classes. Students may register in person with a college adviser, or online if they meet certain requirements.

Tech Garage and Chasin’ The Sun Team Up for Crossover Show

Chipola College’s master certified automotive instructors John Gardner and Josh Ellis will combine the Tech Garage television show on Discovery’s Motor Trend network with Chasin the Sun on Discovery for an epic television crossover event.

Chipola Homecoming Week Jan. 31 - Feb. 5

Chipola College will celebrate Homecoming Saturday, Feb. 5, with the theme, “Chipola is Kicking it Old School.” The celebration will go on the week of Jan. 31—Feb. 5. The Indians will host the Tallahassee Community College Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 5

Jackson Correctional to Host Hiring Event at Chipola Feb. 17

The Jackson Correctional Institution will host a one-day hiring event for Correctional Officers and Trainees, Thursday, Feb. 17, from 8-11 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. in the Chipola College Public Service Building.

Chipola Black History Program Set For Feb. 25

The Chipola College Black Student Union would like to invite all surrounding communities to join them in celebrating Black History Month on Friday, Feb. 25, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., in the Chipola College Cultural Center.

Registration For Chipola Term C Classes Begins Feb. 28

The Chipola College A and B Brain Bowl Teams finished first and second place at the Florida NAQT Sectional on Jan. 21-22. The Sectional is a qualifier for the Community College National Championship which will be held on February 25-26.Taylor Young was the top individual scorer with 56 tossups and a game average of 70.62.

Chipola Artist Series Adds Flowing Water to Line-Up

The Chipola College Artist Series will present Flowing Water Monday, May 23, at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts. Music is one of the most dynamic mediums to express human emotions and reflections to place in traditional Chinese culture. Flowing Water brings cultural knowledge and musical insights to the audience by presenting traditional masterpieces of two Chinese musical instruments.

Wells is FCSAA Theatre Student of The Month

Chipola College sophomore Elijah Wells was selected as the Florida College System Activities Association Theatre Division Student of the Month for January 2022. Wells is enrolled as a Theatre Performance major and was nominated by Chipola College Theatre Director Raines Carr.

Chipola to Host Gulf Coast Wednesday, Feb. 2

Both Chipola College basketball teams host Gulf Coast, Wednesday, Feb. 2. The women’s game begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30.The Indians will host Tallahassee for the Homecoming games, Saturday, Feb. 5. Chipola President Dr. Sarah Clemmons invites all alumni and friends to attend an Alumni Reception beginning at 6 p.m.
