March 19th: Cub Scout Adventure Day. We are offering discounted general admission, with advance registration. All adventure programs are a la carte and can be added to admission. All adventures are 90 minutes in length and will help scouts meet some of the requirements to earn the adventure.
On Friday, March 18th we are holding an overnight at the Aquarium. Leaders can register their groups to sleep over. We will have dinner, a movie in the new theatre, a sleepover, behind-the-scenes tour, and a craft activity. In the morning there will be breakfast, a seal training demonstration, and a scavenger hunt. A $200 deposit is due at the time of reservations with the final balance and attendance due 2 weeks before the event.

NEAM Scout Overnights are back! $70 per person fee includes a buffet dinner, hot breakfast, and late-night snack, as well as a New England Air Museum patch and exclusive Overnight activities including open cockpit experiences in real aircraft, hands-on programs, flight simulators, a film screening, and more! Participants also receive a full day’s admission to the New England Air Museum the day their Overnight ends, as well as half-price admission for immediate family members who join them at the museum that day. Cub Scout/Scouts BSA Overnights are open to all scouts registered with BSA and their families, including non-scout siblings ages 5 and older.

This is an all virtual event. The College of Commissioner Science is a type of annual commissioner conference modeled after college courses and degrees. The purpose is to provide ongoing practical training for all commissioners. Over 10 courses will be offered IN A VIRTUAL SETTING. Be prepared for meaningful training, good fellowship, and information on the latest Scouting developments.
These instructor-led courses are designed to help Scouters learn how to effectively carry out their Scouting roles. In most cases, completing the course will make a Scouter “trained” for the role(s) covered in the course. E-learning versions of some courses may be found below in the E-learning section.
Here in the Connecticut Rivers Council, we are preparing to send a contingent down to the Summit for the 2023 National Jamboree. First on our list is to identify qualified leaders. Below is a leader interest survey for those adults who may want to serve as a leader for our CRC contingent.

Is your unit low on funds? The Council is continuing its partnership with Trinity Solar. They have agreed to donate $50 dollars to the unit for every qualified consultation that comes from your unit. In addition on an installation the unit will receive $500 dollars and the Council will receive $500.
