Rolex Oyster Perpetual now in new shades at Mallory
With its sleek aesthetic, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual graces the wrists of those who see the world as a realm of boundless opportunities. First developed in 1931, it was the brand's first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch, and acts as a gateway to the world of Rolex. The Oyster Perpetual carries the brand's founding legacy and is considered today the quintessence of Rolex excellence.
The Oyster Perpetual is now available with new faces in an array of colours: a muted lavender, a warm sandy beige and a fresh pistachio green. The new looks celebrate the meeting of pastel shades, vibrant lacquering and a smooth, matt finish.
The Oyster Perpetual brings together three of Rolex's founding watchmaking accomplishments: the chronometric certification awarded to a wristwatch for the first time in 1910, the waterproofness of the Oyster watch unveiled in 1926, and the self-winding movement via Perpetual rotor patented in 1931.
The only Rolex model available in five different diameters - 28, 31, 34, 36 and 41 mm - the Oyster Perpetual adapts to the diversity of its wearers and features a wide range of dials.
A universal watch, and the ultimate everyday companion.

The Plant
The Plant commissions artist projects, photography, creative writing and reportage from around the world in a celebration of greenery, from the exotic and magnificent to the modest and everyday, and the creative enterprises they inspire. Its 23rd issue highlights the virtues of slowing down in a seemingly frenetic world, arguing that we have the ability inside us to expand our perception of time, to slow it down and even stop it – what it calls ‘a super power, the same one nature has.’ From the seasonal flora of Tibet and artist Gordon Matta-Clark's tree drawings to Denmark's seaweed-roofed houses, fruit bowls and after school playtime in Japan, you find plenty in these pages to soak up your downtime.
