EaP CSF Re-granting (FSTP) to members 2022 – Lot 2 & Lot 3

EaP CSF has launched a call to support EaP CSF members and their pertinent needs stemming from the external factors and capacity to respond to the crisis and mitigate the impact of the war in Ukraine.

Eligible actions:

LOT 2 – Addressing pertinent needs of the Ukrainian EaP CSF members stemming from external factors.

LOT 3 – Supporting pertinent needs and capacity of the EaP CSF members to respond and to mitigate the impact of the war in Ukraine.

Youth for Revitalisation of Democracy

We are excited to meet the participants of the 4th EaP Youth Conference on 11 - 12 July 2022 in Prague for an intensive and interesting program. Discussions will center around the topics of democratic backsliding in the EaP region, youth leadership, countering disinformation, and peacebuilding.

Working Group meetings

In June and July the EaP CSF had virtual meetings with all five Working Groups to get feedback from the members on how the EaP policy should be reshaped in terms of its architecture and agenda targets.

Webinar: The Fast-Changing Map of Europe – Views from Eastern Europe

On 11 July, Centre for European Policy Studies (member of EaP CSF) within the framework of the “3 DCFTAs” Project and in cooperation with the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum organizes the webinar "The Fast-Changing Map of Europe – Views from Eastern Europe”. Targeted Aid from Youth NGO STAN

Due to the full-scale Russia’s invasion into Ukraine, millions were forced to leave their cities, towns and villages, losing houses and families. The Youth NGO STAN has been helping forcefully displaced people to get help from UN and Save The Children, distributing hygiene kits, or helping the refugees arriving at the train station.

Fundraiser for Chernihiv

Ukrainian Prism has launched a fundraiser that aims to help Chernihiv city (Ukraine) and its citizens. It is possible to donate either food and other essential items (listed on the website), or contribute financially to help reach project objectives. On 14 June, EaP CSF in collaboration with MEP Petras Auštrevičius, (Renew Europe, Lithuania) has held an event at the European Parliament entitled EU candidate status to Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova? Assessing options through the results of the Eastern Partnership Index, to discuss the future of the Eastern Partnership along with the Associated countries’ performance in light of the Copenhagen Criteria, based on the results of the EaP Index 2020-2021. The Impact of Russia's Aggression against Ukraine on Regional Security and Economy

On 10 June 2022, the Armenian National Platform of the EaP CSF discussed the direct and indirect effects of the Ukrainian war on the EaP region during their event titled The Impact of Russia's Aggression against Ukraine on Regional Security and Economy. Speakers from Armenia, other EaP countries and the EU joined the discussion.

An open call for the research grant from the Belarusian European Humanities University (EHU), based in Lithuania

The European Humanities University within the framework of the Women in Tech program, opens call for the research grant for prospective MA students in Gender Studies at EHU. The program is intended for candidates who apply to the MA program in Gender Studies at EHU and whose research project correlates with thematic areas of the Women in Tech program.

Grants for cross-border investigative journalist teams (including for candidates from Ukraine and Georgia)

The EU-supported Local Cross-Border Investigative Journalism Programme launches a call with several deadlines to support investigative teams of professional journalists and/or news outlets, including from Georgia and Ukraine. Along with promoting investigative journalism among local cities and/or regions, this project also plans to develop a training programme in various aspects of investigative journalism, local audience engagement, and security as most local journalists lack or have few resources available at their disposal.
