This upcoming Wednesday is National Fish Taco Day and we are celebrating early! We have the two best fish items for Tacos on the roster, our famous Wild Gulf Coast Red Snapper, and our Wild "so nice they named it twice" Mahi-Mahi!
Red Snapper is moist and delicate, with a mild, slightly sweet taste that goes well with all kinds of additional flavors making it perfect for fish tacos with different sauces, citrus flavors and more.
Mahi-Mahi is a lesser known item but I'd argue rivals even Red Snapper with how well it works with fish tacos. Mahi-Mahi has lean flesh with a mild, sweet flavor profile, moderately firm texture and large, moist flakes. It's extremely cost effective right now, and goes great with crema fresca like in the recipe at the bottom of this newsletter.
