Did you know approximately 59 percent of Spring Branch ISD students are economically disadvantaged? Spring Branch Education Foundation’s Project School Supplies provides these students with the right tools to foster success. We want all students to confidently walk into their classrooms on the first day of school having the tools they need to succeed.
That’s why even before one school year ends, SBEF is planning the next academic year’s Project School Supplies. The Project has a 10-year successful track record, providing thousands of students with appropriate grade-level supplies from crayons to binders.
In 2021-2022, we want to furnish economically disadvantaged students (with a goal of providing for every student) in all Title 1 pre-kindergarten, elementary and middle schools with individual supplies as well as backpacks and classroom tissues, and hand sanitizers. Supplies that would normally cost $35-40 are available to SBEF for as little as $10, thanks to ongoing relationships with national wholesale vendors.
A generous grant from the Wilchester Men’s Club provides calculators for senior math classes at Northbrook High School. Similar donations are a blessing to our students.
Thank you for supporting the 2021-2022 Project School Supplies!
