Summer heat & summer storms means we are starting to enjoy so much more summer flavor!
This Friday, find the first of the King's sweet corn plus more of their green beans and tomatoes, more of Rex Farms peaches plus the first plums, and the first of Swallow Hill blackberries. Summer squash and zucchini are still going strong at all of our farms, along with fresh onions, potatoes, and a variety of cabbage & greens.
Fresh herbs are also abundant right now! Chopped or torn, herbs are simple last minute additions to salads and sautées for a huge burst of flavor! Herbs also add flair to seasonal drinks — try a Summery Bourbon Cocktail, Cucumber Dill Martini, Blackberry Basil Mojito, or simply add them to water for refreshing & flavorful hydration. Shop with Seven Springs & Flying Plow this week to find a beautiful variety of herbs — mint, basil, chamomile, anise hyssop, sage, Italian parsley, cilantro, oregano & dill — and add them to meals & beverages with abandon!
Keep reading for all the local goodness you can get this Friday — rain or shine!

Rain or Shine!
We're committed to being a rain or shine market! We will pause operations for safety in passing electrical storms. If there are any changes due to extreme conditions, we will provide updates via email and social media. Check Facebook & Instagram if you're uncertain on market day.
Location & Parking
Find us in the parking area of The Creamery of Kennett Square @ 401 Birch St. The Creamery is open starting at 5pm on Fridays. FREE PARKING is available on the WEST side of 226 East Birch St (across the street from Braeloch Brewing) or at the office adjacent to The Creamery. We encourage you to use the lots versus the street to be respectful to residents on Birch.
Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week!
- Masks are no longer required for vendors or guests, but please wear one as you as you feel most comfortable.
- Bring some cash as not all vendors accept cards.
- In the heat of summer, it's a good idea to throw a cooler with ice packs in the car to keep things fresh until you get home.
- Well-behaved pups on leash are welcome at market.
- We have a few carts at market entry to use as you shop, just return to that location when done!
