As we come to the end of 2020, we wanted to begin this newsletter by simply telling you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We are deeply grateful for you, your prayers, your encouragement and your support through a very challenging year. 

We send our holiday greetings and our love to you, our amazing #buggingyouteam, as you finish 2020 and enter 2021. May God bless and keep you and your families, may your homes be filled with Peace.

A few #buggingyouteam Updates

Children's Leader Training - In November, Jeremy had the opportunity to work with a local church pastor and do a one-day children's training for the kids leaders. This was the first training since COVID and an exciting time for this church!

Children's Shelter - From nothing to something! This pastor used some of the church's land, and with help from all of you, he was able to build this children's Sunday School shelter for the kids at his church. National Church Children's Leadership - This group of kids leaders in our area met and voted for new leadership positions within the children's department. Jeremy was excited to be a part of their meeting!

Our Goodwin Journey

Homeschooling High School - Jenilee has jumped into a whole new season with homeschooling Annalise and Abby. You can read more about that here on the blog. So far, so good!! Jenilee is also working as our Senegal Field Treasurer and has enjoyed supporting the field in this new role.

Boarding School - Elayna is loving her senior year at Dakar Academy. For the fall play of Peter and the Starcatcher, Elayna was Molly. {You can see the full play on youtube} She was amazing with her cute British accent! It has been a challenging but good year so far. Thank you for praying for her!

Connect with us - We have a new stateside address. You can find that at the bottom of this email. Thank you for sending cards, notes and encouragement! We do see them and love reading each one! As always, you can connect with us daily at the links below.

Ways to Pray

1} Overall health for our family. We are each facing health issues, nothing serious, but things that definitely impact our days. Prayers for health, healing and endurance.

2} The girls. Continue to pray for their schooling, friendships, health, and protection.

3} Senegal. Please pray for the government, the leaders and health workers as they continue fighting COVID-19. We are entering the second wave of the pandemic and expecting possible new restrictions.

4} Ministry. Continue to pray for the children's ministry and leadership in Senegal. Because of COVID, it's been a very challenging year. Pray that they would be encouraged and have vision for the coming year. Pray for new opportunities for Jeremy in curriculum, training, teaching and helping the kids leaders of Senegal.

5} Travel in country. We will {hopefully!} be taking a trip in country to explore more of Senegal and visit our new teammates in Kedougou, Senegal. Pray for safe travels!
