Dear Parents and Friends of the School,

This is the last official newsletter of the year. It is a time for you to reflect on all the wonderful activities your child has experienced this year, as well as their progress and social skills.

In staffing news, Kerry Lundy (Yr 2, Rm 12) has been granted leave for a year. Kerry will work as a Numeracy facilitator for Maths - No Problem (MNP) and this is a wonderful opportunity for Kerry to share her knowledge and skills with many teachers as they embark on their professional development. We wish Kerry all the best for 2025. The Board will make an appointment shortly.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming prize givings, the first being Monday 9 December for the Yr 0-3 students at 1pm, and then the Yr 4-6 Senior prizegiving on Monday 16 December, at 1.15pm.

Your child will bring home their end of year report on the last day of school, Thursday 19 December. Please remember school closes at midday on the 19 December. Your child’s class for 2025 will be emailed to you on 19th December. Your child will visit their 2025 class on the 19 December to meet their new teacher and their new classmates. Please do not contact us asking for a change of class. There are many considerations teachers and the senior leadership team make in choosing the classes for every child. This process takes weeks and we are highly confident we have made the correct decisions for your child. For newer families we mix the classes up every year from Year 3 onwards so by the time your child has finished school they would have had the opportunity to be with just about every child in their cohort.
