The first EOSC-ENTRUST evaluation and adoption workshop

The first EOSC-ENTRUST evaluation and adoption workshop took place in Helsinki, Finland on 24-25 September. Project participants from across Europe gathered together to advance understanding on the requirements for a European network of Trusted Research Environments, with a specific focus on “Interoperability, Governance and Capability” aspects of a joint blueprint to enable federated sensitive data access and analysis.

EOSC-ENTRUST join TITAN and SIESTA projects in EOSC Symposium unconference session

ENTRUST is teaming up with our sister projects, TITAN and SIESTA to deliver a joint session at the EOSC Symposium 2024 “As open as possible, restricted as necessary: EOSC sensitive data exchange”.

News from project partners

£18 million for DARE UK to support secure research on sensitive data

UK Research and Innovation, the UK’s largest public funder of research, has confirmed funding for a new phase of the DARE UK (Data and Analytics Research Environments UK) programme with up to £18.2 million made available over 2.5 years. Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and Administrative Data Research UK (ADR UK) will continue to oversee the management and delivery of the programme.

Recording of the annual UK TRE Conference

The UK TRE Community invited speakers to discuss their experience in the practicalities of federating TREs and bridging communities. The conference focused on three critical issues: getting data federated to approved projects; instant provisioning of infrastructure for collaborative projects; and streamlining legal discussions.
