Franklin Forms The Junto (Leather Apron) Club in Philadelphia in 1727. It
proved that ordinary Americans do extraordinary things when they have open and
honest conversations and learn from each other. This is why we have open breakfast
discussions every Saturday at Sal's in Somers Point, NJ.
Liberty And Prosperity 1776, Inc. of Somers
Point, NJ has been recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charity
since 2003. Donations to us are tax deductible. We qualify for gifts from charitable trusts.
As a tax-exempt charity, we cannot take sides
in elections to support or oppose any candidate. However, we do explain which
issues are important, and where candidates stand on them.
We identify the most important issues at open
breakfast discussions every Saturday morning. We then discuss and suggest
solutions. We apply common sense (“Yankee ingenuity”), Judeo-Christian values,
and American principles of liberty and limited constitutional government.
This American tradition began when Benjamin Franklin formed the Junto
(Leather Apron) Club in Philadelphia in 1727. High priced government and political consultants use “focus groups” to do what we do every week!
