This high-energy acoustic band has played thousands of shows across the nation bringing a little bluegrass, jazz, and a bit of rock and roll to the stage. Concerts are free. Take a guided tour through Custis Square, where archaeologists have embarked on a five-year exploration of the four-acre home and early 18th-century gardens of John Custis IV. The Williamsburg community is invited to gather on the steps of the Courthouse at 101 W Duke of Gloucester St, in the heart of the Historic Area to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the attack on our nation.
With music, prayers, and reflections by community leaders, all are invited to pause, remember, and honor the victims of that day. The ceremony will culminate in the tolling of 20 chimes and the playing of “Amazing Grace” by a lone bagpiper.
