The Future Mobility Group was to commence its activity in the Ministry of Transport and Communications last week. The Group is to take on ambitious tasks of promoting the creation and development of innovative solutions in the transport sector and of increasing sector competitiveness and Lithuania’s innovation potential.
Wargaming said it has opened a new office in Vilnius, Lithuania, to strengthen the company’s distributed development model.
The office will employ developers and it will also act as a publishing arm for central and Eastern Europe. The new hub will be located in the city’s modern business district and will focus on current and future projects alike.
Vilnius, Lithuanian capital, considers converting Lukiškės Prison complex, a former prison and one of the shooting locations for Netflix’s Stranger Things, into a multifunctional center to suit cultural, educational, scientific, artistic, and commercial purposes. Private sector investors will be able participate in the complex regeneration project, and present their vision for transforming the non-conventional object.
The Lithuanian Culture Institute and the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) in Vilnius present the first Lithuanian Visual Arts Showcase, which features a selection of prominent Lithuanian artists working in the field of contemporary art today.
Ieva Rojūtė is a Lithuanian artist working with installations, texts and drawings. Rojūtė is interested in a broad range of topics, including social constructions such as family, everyday language and basic human concerns.
