Shenanigans aplenty happened in July! I am still getting caught up!
I had a great time in Traverse City, and may or may not have had a bit too much wine on a bus tour we took to a total of 3 wineries. The bus tour is definitely the way to go so everyone can have a good time and not worry about traveling to and from locations! I also took in another Asylum tour and took more great pictures I plan to use later when promoting my Supernatural series. No, I haven't had any interest yet, and even received a few more rejections, but I'm not letting that stop me from planning ahead! I love this series too much!
I also did a book event, Once Upon A Book, in Frankenmuth, MI at the end of the month. It was so much fun to meet all the readers at the book signing, but I have to say the Monster Ball was the most fun I've had in a long time. You can check out my costume below, and I have a surprise there for those who weren't able to join in the fun, so be sure to check it out!
I have also worked a little more on Athena's story, which I hope to wrap up soon, now that things are slowing down a little. I have a few promotions in August that are mentioned below, and I hope to have Athena wrapped up and to an editor by the end of this month, so I can gear up for my next book event. For those in the Louisville, KY area, I'm coming your way in October!
I hope everyone is happy and healthy, and if you are reading... let me know what! I have those new bookcases in my office coming soon after all!
The Once Upon A Book Event was a lot of fun, and I had a blast bringing my version of Medusa to life. During the event, I gave away free copies of Medusa's Secret, and I wanted to include all of my subscribers in the fun as well!
As a thank you for following my journey, please follow the link to download your free copy of Book 2 in the Goddesses In Love series, and remember that no matter how grim her fate seems, I promised her a HEA!

Last but not least, I am running another special on Book Bundle 1 of the Power Of Four series, for the month of August. For this month, you can purchase it for the special price of .99 on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google, Kobo & Apple. If you have already taken advantage of a similar offer, please consider passing the word on to someone who may also like the series by sharing one of my social slides.
For those who like showing their support by posting reviews, you can find me on Goodreads at: https://www.goodreads.com/dahe... or on BookBub @DAHenneman.I appreciate the time you take when leaving reviews, it helps me find new readers, which will in turn support me in writing more books! Totally a win win!
I will be participating in the Louisville Bookfest at the end of October and will give more information on it next month. This will be my 2nd year participating in this lovely event, and the first year as an in-person event, which I'm very excited about. There are over 200 authors participating, so it should be amazing! If you are in the area, be sure to stop by and say hello!
I've added several books to my TBR, and I really need to stop and get caught up with what I have! BookTok is a real problem! lol
I recently added Sarah J. Maas to my pile, and I have a feeling I'm going to regret starting book 1... i just don't have time for a huge series, but I have heard amazing things about it!
What books have you added to your TBR that you just couldn't say no to? Please tell me I'm not the only one that can't control her impulses in a bookstore. :)
Have a great month everyone! And as always, Happy reading! XO
