,
you know when you want to speak Italian but you're too afraid to approach people?
What will they say?
Will they laugh?
What if I don't understand?
You want to start, but you're not sure of how things will go. And you're too scared to give it a try.
What can you do, then, to take the first jump but with a safety net?
Speaking is a habit, and if you want to get good at it the first thing to do is to begin to do it.
And if you're too scared to approach a random person, the best thing to do is to talk with kind, sensitive and trusted people.
When you know that no one will judge you and that you will be safe to say whatever crosses your mind, it will be easier for you to open up and unleash your full potential.
This is why I created the Italian Warriors Club, and I'm proud to say that it's one of the safest places in the world (if not the safest) to practice Italian and grow both as a learner and as a person.
You see, , these are some of my values:
- kindness
- respect
- empathy
- growth
- support
And I wanted my club to embody them.
And you? What values do you look for in a speaking partner or a speaking community?
Let me know.
