Over the past several weeks, we've received numerous messages from athletes in Quebec and around the world eager to register and learn about the next event dates. We're deeply touched by the enthusiasm generated by this event, which began in 2017 in collaboration with the City of Lac-Mégantic.Therefore, the CanadaMan/Woman Xtri and the SoloPoint 5 will return in 2026, and we look forward to seeing you.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the past seven editions, to the Quebec triathletes who have supported us from the start, and to those who came from all corners of Quebec, from all Canadian provinces, and from 32 countries worldwide. You, who like us, woke up at 2:30 AM to dive into the adventure at 4:30 AM and, for some, pushed your limits up to 24 hours later... you are the soul of the CanadaMan/Woman Xtri.Together with athletes, assistants, families, hundreds of volunteers, and partners, we've created a unifying event that continues to inspire.
For our organization, supporting you throughout the journey and contributing to your success fills us with immense pride. Each finish at the summit of Mont Mégantic is a deeply emotional moment for our team.A special thank you to all the members of the City of Lac-Mégantic team, who have been integral to the success of the CanadaMan/Woman since the very beginning in 2016, the year before the inaugural event. We also wish to acknowledge the 14 regional municipalities that have supported and assisted this project since its inception.
Your commitment and support have been essential to the success and growth of this unique event. In the meantime, our production team is diligently working on the official program, set to premiere in Lac-Mégantic at the end of April before broadcasting on RDS in Canada and numerous channels in over 125 countries. Enjoy our fabulous winter, explore, and keep moving outdoors!
