Unrestricted grants are available for community and voluntary sports
groups across the UK and Ireland, delivering activities for a social purpose to
under-represented communities. eg, targeting
communities facing disadvantage, engaging people from under-represented groups,
or addressing local issues such as crime and anti-social behaviour.
This year's focus is on community sports clubs and organisations who are
in need due to the impact of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis and may
be threatened with closure.
The funding
aims to support the sustainability of local sports clubs, thereby ensuring more
people have access to local sports.
Applications are accepted from not-for-profit organisations, including
charities, community groups and traditional sports clubs.
There is a
funding pot of £200,000 for 2023. Unrestricted grants of £2,000 are available.
The funding should be spent within a six-month period.
The deadline for applications is 31 December 2023. Applicants should
hear by 17 January 2024
