British fashion brand NRBY to bring its laid-back luxury to Bath with upcoming store opening

Keep what you love nearby…

With two established stores in London, NRBY is now bringing its philosophy of laid-back luxury to the Southwest with the opening of its new Bath store at 32 Milsom Street on 20 September.
NRBY was founded by Jo Hooper to create clothes for life as it’s really lived – relaxed silhouettes, natural fabrics and timeless design that move effortlessly from morning to evening, city to countryside. A female-led brand, NRBY champions “One-Mile-Wear – the three inches of your wardrobe you actually wear” and places sustainability at the heart of every decision.
This season also sees the third chapter of BOYD X NRBY – a collaboration with celebrated designer Tracey Boyd. Inspired by autumn’s midnight gardens, the capsule blends rainbow silks, rich velvets and multicoloured tweeds in a collection that celebrates colour, connection and craft.

Weekend Wines
The Red Wines of Portugal
Portugal's individuality is both its unique selling point and the reason it continues to suffer from a lack of consumer awareness of the quality of its wines. A country replete with indigenous grape varieties and some of the world's most interesting blended wines, Portugal has long shunned the adoption of international varieties. The wines therefore defy imitation and possess an incredible sense of place.

Prior Park College lights up green for 'Mito'
Prior Park College's Mansion will be lit green this Saturday for World Mitochondrial Disease Awareness, an annual event which aims to raise awareness of the disease and improve the lives of people affected by 'mito'.
Mitochondrial disease is a genetic disorder that can affect any organ in the body at any age, and often occurs in babies and young children. There is currently no cure.
Additionally, mitochondrial dysfunction has been identified as a key factor in other more common diseases including dementia, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and cancer.
Despite being a little-known disease, mito could be the key to some of the most important medical breakthroughs of our time.
Prior Park has supported this event for the last six years, working with The Lily Foundation, the largest charitable funder of mitochondrial research in Europe.

Bath Rugby name teams for weekend double-header
As many as 53 players are set to take to the field for Bath Rugby over the weekend as the club plays two fixtures on consecutive days. The games against Worcester Warriors and Exeter Chiefs on Friday and Saturday, respectively, will offer important opportunities for players to build sharpness and cohesion, as well as highlighting Bath Rugby’s commitment to building squad depth, and fostering young talent.
On Saturday (KO 3.05pm), a 23-man squad will face Chiefs at The Rec as the Blue, Black and White begin their PREM Rugby Cup campaign, a competition which the club has targeted as providing invaluable game time for its Academy players and emerging talent. This developmental approach last season saw Bath winning the PREM Rugby Cup – the club’s first trophy in 17 years – as around 50 players, many making their debuts, featured across the competition in 2024/25.
Taking to the field at Sixways Stadium on Friday night (KO 7.45pm), a Bath United side will complete the third of three pre-season fixtures for 2025/26. Scrum-half Ben Spencer – one of seven Bath players to return to the West Country from England’s camp this week – will lead the side. Props Francois van Wyk, who scored in last Friday’s pre-season 28-28 draw away at Munster Rugby, and Archie Griffin line up alongside hooker Kepueli Tuipulotu in the front row.
