Years F-6: Explore a NEW Year 3-4 Unit of Work & Resources

This session will explore a new unit of work and a comprehensive collection of student and teacher resources. The unit:

- is designed using the Victorian Curriculum: Italian (but concepts and activities can be adapted to other languages);

- applies High Impact Teaching Strategies;

- focuses on developing oral language skills for classroom interaction;

- will be able free of charge on FUSE

$30 Members - $50 Non-members (incl. GST)

$10 Subsidy available for Victorian Government school teachers

ALL TEACHERS OF LANGUAGES ACROSS AUSTRALIA ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS BRIEF ONLINE SURVEY

What teaching and learning resources do you use/need in your Languages program? Participate in this survey to inform an understanding of the resources used and needed to provide quality Languages education opportunities for Australian students.

This includes the teaching of Additional Languages, Community Languages and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages.

This survey is part of the AFMLTA project being conducted for the Australian Government.

The MLTAV encourages beginning and accomplished teachers of Languages to participate in the 2021 MLTAV Mentoring Network.

Participation in the 2021 Mentoring Network provides:

- A partnership between a beginning and accomplished teacher of the same language;

- Free access to 12 MLTAV Online Professional Learning webinars during terms 2-4, 2021;

- A Collegiate Classroom Visit (with $230 contribution to CRT release);

- Participation in an online Mentoring Network session each term.

The first session will be held on Zoom on Wednesday 28 April, 3:45pm - 4:45pm.

There are a limited number of places available for this FREE Mentoring program.

Submit your Expression of Interest via the EOI form (click on the button below) by Friday 26 March, 2021. You will be advised of the outcome of your EOI by Tuesday 20 April.

Introducing the new CCAFL Framework Consultation

Education Perfect

The team at Education Perfect would like to invite all MLTAV members to participate in the 2021 Education Perfect Languages championships which is taking place from the 16th-23rd March. The EP Languages Championships are a great global celebration of language learning where students of all ability levels are rewarded for their efforts.

If you don’t already have access to the EP platform, signing up for the championships will also provide access to view and trial our extensive bank of languages lessons.
