It is good to be back from vacation. In part, because it feels like normal life. I realize that life is not exactly "normal" and in terms of a pre-covid sense, it will never be "normal" again. However, it is true that a lot of the regular events of life have taken center stage again and that is a relief. It is also true that the regular events of life are both joyful and sorrowful.
One of the sorrowful but regular events of life is the loss of loved ones. This week I have one of those sorrowful events to share with you. Bill Wise, husband of Mona Wise, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 29th, in the early morning hours. The family is processing this loss privately and appreciate cards but are not accepting visitors at this time. Please keep the family in your prayers.
Another announcement of this nature is that there will be a memorial service for Erma Case on Friday, July 9th, at 2 pm. Erma was a faithful attendee of St. Andrew's and a part of this community. I hope that you will have an opportunity to attend to support the family in their grief, give thanks for the life of a lovely woman, and to celebrate the resurrection hope we have in Jesus.
Yours in Christ,

We are back! Coffee hour is coming back with a big bang! Sunday will be the restart of the coffee hour fellowship. As a special treat for the 4th of July, the Congregational Life Team is planning an Ice Cream Social. After worship, join us in Morgan Hall. You will find homemade cookies, sauces, and toppings to help you create your favorite dessert. Plan to stay after church Sunday and have a Sundae!
