I would like to start out this newsletter by asking a favor...
Pretty please with sugar on top! I need some help from you and it will only take a few minutes of your time, I promise! Late last year I relaunched my entire series against my better judgment. There were a ton of reasons why I thought it was a good idea at the time, most of which I still agree with, however, I lost all of my reviews in the process. That is where you come in!
If you have read any of my work and could take a few minutes to post an honest review, I would be so grateful. It is hard to get noticed in the sea of books that are published each year, and reviews are one of the ways to get those tricky little algorithms to take notice. Reviews can be left anywhere you find my books, or reading websites such as Goodreads or BookBub. Clicking on the image above will take you to my follow page on my website with all my social links.
As an update, this month was spent putting Book 2 of my Paranormal Mystery on hold and diving into a new novelette in the Goddesses In Love series which I am having a blast writing. The next heroine to fall in love is Medusa, and I can't wait to bring her story to life! You should start to hear more about that release in the coming months.
I also was asked to be on a writer's panel at my local library, and had an amazing time chatting about my journey and the process of writing. The video is available for a limited time and is about an hour-long if you are interested in checking it out. You can find it on the Hamburg Library's You Tube by clicking here. The video will only be available for a couple of weeks, so be sure to head there soon!
Lastly, I plan on sharing some pieces on my blog that I have had a hard time finding a home for. They aren't doing anyone any good sitting on my computer or in a desk drawer so I will be sharing 1 or 2 a month moving forward. If you are interested in checking them out, they will eventually find their way to my Short Story tab here.
It's going to be another busy month! At least the sun is shining more in this part of the world! Spring has sprung!
I have recently lowered the price on Book 1 of my Fantasy Romance series, and it is available now for $1.99 on all platforms where you can find my books! If you haven't started the series yet and were considering it, this is a great time to dive in (pardon the pun)! Here's a blurb!
In a land that parallels ours, a great evil lies in wait. To defeat it, Brooke must face her worst nightmare.
Just when Brooke Fisher thought she had a handle on her anxiety, strange things start to happen. In addition to her hair turning green, she has had nothing but cold showers and iced coffee for weeks. When the man starring in her nightmares walks into her reality, she struggles to make sense of her undeniable attraction to him.
The beautiful woman Will Engel has met is complicated in a way that speaks to him. As he helps her unravel the clues in a mysterious journal, he finds that their pasts are intertwined in a way that defies all logic.
As the threat of the Shadowman grows stronger, their journey takes them to a magical land that parallels their own. What they find there not only confirms Brooke's destiny as the element of Water, but also Will's role in her future.
New Age Magick. Mystical & Paranormal Creatures. Empowered Heroines and Supportive Heroes. With the addition of an HEA, this series has it all! Click to start your reader library today!
For anyone that prefers to read on their iPhone or iPad, you can now purchase my books on Apple! For anyone who purchases my books this way, please be sure to let me know if you have any trouble with my files. I always like to get feedback when I try out a new platform.
I will be participating in a Book signing event on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ann Arbor, MI. For those who are local and interested in attending, you can find more information at their EventBrite link. General Admission is free, but tickets are required in order to adhere to social distancing requirements and masks will be mandatory.
The event runs from 11 am to 4 pm, with a 10am VIP arrival for those who purchase that level ticket. I will have copies of all my books available for purchase and look forward to seeing some friendly faces, even if they will be behind masks. :) If you want to be part of the virtual fun, be sure to joint their reader group: https://www.facebook.com/group...
I haven't gotten through very many books on my TBR pile, and have only added more which is pretty normal for me. Darci Hannah, the woman I did the library panel with, is a Cozy Mystery writer and just had a new release, so I couldn't resist! Murder At the Beacon Bakeshop was added to my Kindle that very night!
There is also more research to be done for Book 2 of my Mystery series, which is part of the reason I am working on my Medusa novelette. Violet's story is turning out to be a little more nuanced than I had originally planned, and I want to do her justice. I will be reading American Baby by Gabrielle Glaser as part of my research since my book touches on adoption during the 1960's. Heavy stuff, but I am learning a ton!
I hope this finds you happy and healthy. For those who celebrate, Happy St. Patrick's Day and may all good things come to you this year!
